5 reasons to play: zack and wiki

zack and wikiwelcome to our new feature “5 reasons to play”. the idea is simple, we’ll take a game and convince you to play it in 5 bullet points. we kick off with zack and wiki for the nintendo wii.
1. zack and wiki has some of the most inventive uses for the wii remote of any game we’ve played. from opening an umbrella to sawing down a tree, there are a tonne of different motions and all of them are perfectly implemented.

2. the chunky cartoon style is refreshing and works well in the context of the game. it makes objects easy to see and aids with the puzzle solving.

3. the game is split into bite-sized puzzles making them perfect for a quick gaming fix or indeed a lazy sunday morning.

4. you’ll get frustrated for the right reasons. the puzzles are extremely entertaining and can be very challenging, but the game is very well put together making it a joy to repeat the puzzles. no clunky game mechanics here, everything has a high level of polish.

5. it’s about pirates!
