5 reasons to play: fable 2

fable 2 box artgaming season has officially hit and its one of the best line-ups for years. the first big game to hit is fable 2. following in the tradition of our “5 reasons to play” feature, here are our 5 reasons why fable 2 is a must buy.

1) the old english environments, complete with soft falling snow are incredibly charming.

2) don’t listen to the naysayers, the inclusion of a canine companion is genius. you’ll absolutely become emotionally attached to your dog as you traverse the sumptuous world.

3) the fighting mechanic is highly polished and works like a charm. it contains a surprising amount of depth once you begin to upgrade your abilities, and you never grow old of its streamlined simplicity.

4) you get to eat a lot of different things in this game, and we mean a lot! we don’t want to spoil anything but, depending on how you play the game, you may be faced with certain food-based moral choices.

5) there is just so much to do in this game, its easy to become distracted. buying and furnishing houses, getting hitched, having children, becoming a blacksmith, chopping up wood, the list is endless. take time to explore and don’t be afraid to deviate from the main quest, you wont regret it.
